Zouhir Latif is the founder and director of the first local proximity
Tunisian channel “Telvza TV”. He is also the founder and president of the Free Reporters association, which trains citizen reporters in Tunisia.
Latif is one of the few reporters who has covered major wars and conflicts since the early nineties such as the invasion of Kuwait, the war between Eritrea and Ethiopia, Kosovo, East Timor, the invasion of Iraq and others.
Latif has produced many documentaries for leading European and Arab channels such as the BBC, Al Jazeera English and Dubai tv.
He interviewed several influential political and cultural personalities including Botros GHALI, Kofi ANNAN, Najib MAHFOUZ, Melis ZINAOUI, Tony BLAIR and Mouammar KHADDAFI.
Latif is a committed journalist who has always campaigned for press freedom in the Arab world.
